What is your biggest obstacle in your offline business?

Do you even know what it is?

Stop for a second and answer these 3 questions......

1) What is holding me back in my business?

2) Why is this step so difficult?

3) How I am going to overcome it - step by step?

Honestly when your feeling overwhelmed clearly identify what it is EXACTLY that is holding you back....

Here are my answers

1) Lack of time to get everything done, I work long hours to make sure that everything is in order and all my customers are 100% ok

2) Difficulty letting go and delegating tasks, I am trying to control too many aspects and afraid of the customer service dropping and losing clients

3) Hire a VA and delegate tasks *gulp*

I know this is the natural next step to grow my business....now just got to do it and hire an exceptional VA!

Sooooo what holding you back?

    Chasing money!

I hate it! It's my fault as I need to lay it out more clearly in the agreement/contract. It can really F up your day/week when you are expecting money to come in and it doesn't.

I need to lay it our MUCH more clearly and be firm with people.

Helping a friend right now and going through it and I am getting wore out. It makes it hard when it's a family friend (also my sister's roommate)

Let that be a lesson, try not to do business with peeps you know. It's not worth it.

I would have to say that the three things holding me back are ...

    1. Not having a steadfast client getting system in place
    2. Not having enough money in the budget yet to assign all the little, distracting tasks to a VA
    3. Not sticking with a list of priorities some days.

There are days I tend to deal with whatever jumps in front of me and though I may only be part way through and get a client call to deal with something else, I begin to do that, etc. Some days can be quite unproductive and therefore frustrating. I know this takes discipline. Still working on it.

I'm surprised by your response. Are you having a bad day? You're normally pretty cool and offer solid advice.

          To grow and learn

Identifying what is holding you back and taking steps to overcome it is really hard when your up to your eye balls in work. Personally I was feeling really overwhelemed and struggling to keep the balance. I really had to stop and take a breather and refocus..... It really helped me push past what was holding me back.

I wanted to see if this could help others here hence it is in a marketing forum where warriors are trying to grow their business

This post was something I did after it helped me in my offline business.

I find indecision leads to inaction and no results. Identify the problem, develop a plan and smash it outta the park

    1) What is holding me back in my business?
Getting on the phone and calling businesses to help me grow much faster.

    2) Why is this step so difficult?
Fear of rejection dealing with the crap.

    3) How I am going to overcome it - step by step?
hire someone to do it. Or get over myself and finally start.
