What's a local business strategy session?

It's a deliberately well planned meeting that you have with a qualified local business owner who is a prospects (not a 'Lead').

That business owner is motivated and ready to explore hiring you to help them with one or more problems they have related to *increasing their profits* -- NOT getting more customers, it's about ultimately increasing their profits.

From what I see, hear and read about, a lot of the suggestions and advice bypasses this e.g. cold call and make the sale there and then as just one example and while this may work once in a while your business should be based on repeatable and predictable systems.

The question is, is this an area where you too might need to look at doing things differently?


During this session you're involved in a selling conversation because if things are right for you and the business owner you should both want to move forward.

I created the 5-step approach initially to overcome my dislike of selling (I don't come from a direct sales background!) and modified it until it became highly effective. I use this to support these sessions and you should use whatever method works best for you based, not on what others say works for them, but based on who you are, your skills, knowledge background and goals.
