Best Tips on Upselling via Fiverr (Gig Extras & Recurring Income)

Thought we could share some tips and advice on upselling a fiverr gig to make recurring income via gig extras.

I am thinking about exploring some fiverr gigs to produce recurring income.

The idea is simple enough. Create a gig with undeniable value that people want and need. By providing exceptional value at a ridiculously low price customers will flock to buy your gig. While you might lose money at first (even if it is just an opportunity cost) you must create a gig extra where the customer will need your recurring service *otherwise the gig you performed will be useless.*

While the gig purchased for $5 might be enough for certain people or businesses, after they see the much added value of your upsell, the customer will see this as a no brainer as long as you keep the monthly recurring payment low. ($19.99)

Thoughts?

Good luck. I've offered "business consulting" services, did pretty well. The issue is the clientele...they are the cheapest of the cheap. I've seen a guy selling 10 page websites for $5!! It's not a place I recommend you offer your services. It's just a loosing battle.

No can't say I have. It's against Fiverr policy to do business outside of Fiverr so that would be a little tricky/risky.

I think people do it all the time.

However, why are you using this forum? How is this related to offline?

Easy. Use the gig to sell offline services. Just got to be a little creative.

            okay I see.
Well, I see the arbitrage benefit...selling a service to a client but fulfilling it through someone else's fiverr gig. To me, this seems the most lucrative way of using fiverr assuming you use someone who is responsibly providing a good gig.

This is a good idea and I see this regularly on Fiverr and it works. You can do business offline I have done it myself several times, you just have to be careful in the messaging part and don't mention your address directly.

Selling to offline clients is by far the most lucrative method to use Fiverr because you can resell this service for 5-10 days what you pay on Fiverr or even more depending on how you market these services to offline clients. It isn't that difficult to find good quality gigs to offer your offline clients on Fiverr you just need to do your due diligence when selecting the right person to purchase your gigs from. You need to pay attention to a few things. First look at how long they have been performing these services because this is good indicator that they are reputable and reliable. Pay attention to their customer feedback score, customer reviews and dissect the overall Gig description to see if there may be any inconsistencies. Lastly contact the seller to discuss your needs and anything else you may want to clarify. This should be done for all your respective sellers so you can create and compile a list of service providers that you believe are reliable, trustworthy, skilled and can deliver on time. You can now resell these services to offline clients with confidence knowing you will be able to deliver the services that they paid for. One final note make sure you have several individuals that are providing the same task that way you will have a backup in the event your outsourcer cancels their gig or the work load becomes overwhelming.

Yeah fiverr is a good avenue for a lot of things dealing with Internet Marketing however you have to make sure you have a gig that is popular. With the time it takes to perform the act it has to be something that can be done in a relative quick way. $5 actually $4 after the fee charged by fiverr is not enough to warrant creating a gig unless you can do multiple orders in a day relatively easy.

Outsourcing and arbitrage are really easy and efective methods to earn money The only problem is that those methods don't have the "get rich button"...
