Facebook Business Fan Pages - What to Sell Exactly?

I've searched the Warrior forum high and low to find a blueprint for selling business fan pages. However, I wasn't able to find one. What I did find was a lot of individual posts that list some of the items that could be sold but little detail as to the relative importance/value of each item.

I've put together a few fan pages so I have a pretty good understanding of fan page construction.

I'd like to offer fan pages for local businesses. What I would like to do is create a list of fan page features that would appeal to the businesses but present the list in such a way that each feature builds on the previous features. For example, I would first offer a basic fan page which includes a cover image, a profile image and the background information filled in. This would get the client started. After that, I would offer apps. However, this is where the sky becomes the limit and the relative value of each app escapes me.

I would be interested in what you feel is the ideal list of features to offer, in what order, and what benefit they would bring to the client.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

It's really hard to give a finite answer to what businesses want on Facebook. They have different needs and have different skill sets just like any other business. Some don't have a clue as to how to set up a page while most have pages, but don't know how to manage them at all.
The biggest mistake business owners make is to treat FB as an advertising medium. The in turn is the number one reason why people unlike a page, because they are getting bombarded with ads.
So offering moderation services or training is something in my experience almost all business owners need.
    Hope this helps!

We find it better to sell a facebook tutorial or lesson with the development of a business page. That way they will actually see success with Facebook rather than just get frustrated in not seeing any results. They have to be taught what to share and what not to share and how often to share it.

So the moral of the story is to sell the business development of a page as well as a lesson on how to use facebook. It will not only provide more value, but bring in more cash and make for a happy customer. Happy customers = referrals

    Hope that helps

Every client want its own features to be present at that page. And every task is different usually. However, all general things have been mentioned already. Good content, good banner on the top and then promotion of the page...
