[OFFLINE Squeeze Pages] I need your help!

A day or to ago, I came across a post where "James" tells us he sells squeeze pages setup to his offline clients. He even get them from a squeeze page sign up so he can proves it works! Kinda smart presell!

I'm trying to think of what I could offer on top of web design and that would have incredible value to my client, while charging premium price.

Of course I always thought of SEO, but I have no clue about it and don't live in an english speaking country, so it s not very easy to outsource. Not only this, but here people use YP wayyy more than google for local biz searches.

BUT I can definitely build squeeze pages and set up follow up emails! I can definitely see how it could help an accountant, a tax advisor, etc... to get more clients.

I can see how a tax advisor could build a list offering an ebook with advices to pay less taxes, then funnel prospects into clients.

Now do you think it'd be good to promote the SP through direct mail and not directly online?

I also wouldn't promote this service online in my area, but through direct mail and probably cold calling as well, telling my prospects I can help them get more clients, and have a pdf to download where I tell them about the system.

There would be a set up fee for the funnel, then monthly charges would be for email marketing.

I m thinking of all of this because at the moment all I have to sell is web design, I focus on restaurants, and I cannot pitch that the website will increase their business. Just that it s important to be online as everybody is nowadays.

If you think I don t bring any value then I ll disagree, because in my country, people look for local biz on YP big time. So the website could be just put in the listing and drive traffic. Purpose of the site is to give a nice image of the place and provide more info to customers.

My point is, I d like to be able to say to a biz owner:

"Look, I know how to get you new customers that you would never get otherwise, and even give you an authority position in your niche."

My question is:

Is this a viable plan?

Obviously I d like to hear from james on this, and if Jason, John, Iamnameless (and others of course) want to give some advice, it would help me a ton!
