Why are People here so helpful though?

I am really shocked at the amount of help i have received from this Sub Forum. Any where else they are probably just trying to sell you something over here ( Offline) they just provide info and their techniques which they could be selling as WSO but are not. Some even offer to help you over their personal Email lol like are they going to upsell something to you in future? what is the strategy here lol?

Just want to say thanks... :p

Because we have guys like John Durham and kenmichaels leading the way with the right 'tude...it's about being Warriors and sharing, not just making money.

Thank you for noticing! If the other people who help out feel like I do from time to time, we genuinely get a kick out of seeing other people succeed, but sometimes don't feel appreciated. However, there always does seem to be a fellow Warrior who comes along with an unexpected PM or message like this one that brightens the day!

I felt the exact same way when I first ventured off into the offline forum. I was amazed. I've been a part of other message boards of which weren't the most helpful, and joining WF was something I'm VERY glad I did!

After being offered advice by people like John Durham, kenmichaels, Jason Kanigan, IAmNameless, etc. I guess it just really drove me to want to help others as well.. and because of that I do what I can to supply people with the answers they need. It's a great cycle!

I think it has to do with the fact that many people treat their offline marketing ventures as a business, as it should be. So naturally it's more demanding. It is usually treated as a full income for the service provider. And so they want to socialize with like minded people, to learn and to help, thus staying informed and knowledgeable.

Offline marketing is also very full of opportunity at the moment and will be for a long time. And so the secrecy and fear of competition doesn't really exist here as much. Allowing everyone to be much more helpful and encouraging.

That's the beauty of our community here. Some folks really are good people at heart and genuinely want to help others without asking for anything in return. Also, many feel the need to contribute and 'give back' to this great forum that has taught them so many invaluable lessons and provided so much great information completely free (I am one of those people ).

Admittedly, if you do eventually decide to offer a WSO, it definitely doesn't hurt to have an established reputation on the forum - provided it's a good one. That way people will trust you more. But that's not to say that those people don't still genuinely want to help others.

Jason put it quite well above. Some of us actually like to see others succeed. And we love to see people benefitting from our stuff. Thanks for noticing and for taking the time to be appreciative. Your appreciation is much appreciated

I was actually reading one of your posts when you where giving your technique of providing value by getting you client on the first page before they pay That is what I am doing now but I am going to give away free websites then they pay for hosting.Anyway I mean I had noticed that almost every post on here is helpful, most are very inspiring. But It is only when you gave you email for those who had more questions that my Jaws dropped. I mean on top of such a great post. sigh sorry i dont mean to sound like an ass kisser but this sub forum has REALLY been helpful.

One reason we are so helpful is because "We know you can do it!"

Another reason is because: If you ever went out in the woods and tracked a bear for two days and finally got him...

You would come home and tell your family the WHOLE story of how you hunted that bear down, tracked him, and baited him...and you wouldnt leave out any detail...

So in short; we ALSO just like to tell our hunting stories alot... lol

Some people just go to the grocery store (JOB) and pick up their weekly check- but WE- in offline- are hunters and we have lots of cool stories to share.

Yeah that's a really great analogy, John. Other internet marketing ventures just aren't as exciting as offline can be.

Haha no, thanks for the kind words. Glad to help. And great idea on the free website pay for hosting thing.

Precisely! Excellent analogy. You're exactly right, I do the same thing - come home and tell my family the whole story of how I hunted down a new client.

Helping is vital to your success. We all need it, we all want it, and we all try to give it. We are all in the same world and we all have a different mindset than most. If we don't help each other who will.

    This forum is great.

And if you want my honest theory of why this forum is so different from the others here on the warrior forum here it is..... It all comes down to the simple fact that here on the offline forum the people posting and acting as experts are successful in the offline world. They can give great advice because they not only have it to give but they don't need to monitize everything.

Their niche is not "making money online". On so much of the rest of the warrior forum that niche dominates. Both the successful and unsuccessful are in it. So they are always trying to sell things.

When people here sell a WSO or coaching it is a side business for them. It's not how they make their money day in and day out. So for them they don't see it as "giving away $$", they see it as giving back to the community that gave them so much. This spirit of giving it back and even paying it forward is why this community is the best on the warrior forum.

You're exactly right Aaron, never really thought of it that way. Folks here aren't the sleezy "gurus" in the make money online niche who are just constantly trying to push their next $97 course/ebook.

John I love the hunting story analogy. Great way to sum it up. So often the great thread here actually start as people talking about how they scored big. They then evolve into great value as we all ask questions about the nuts and bolts of how they pulled the big one in.

    LOL love that bear analogy.

This is pretty much the only forum I hang out in, too. I have met some really amazing people just by hanging out here and socializing. These are people I Skype / email with daily, and I appreciate each one.

I also agree with the statement that people here, generally, aren't here to pitch something. There's no cut-throat, you're-my-enemy feeling and that makes it a great place to share, encourage and be encouraged.

Great points. Many newbies don't realize that they could indeed be that person and that it's not some unattainable dream. It is very realistic to create a full time income completely using free info from threads here in the offline section.

I would say out of all the make money online methods, offline is the easiest to make real money quickly and can be scaled up to become quite a lucrative business/job.

When I started selling web development services in 1994, there was no such thing as "help". We made it up as we went along.

I'm at a place in the industry where I have very little competition for the kind of stuff I do because I've been doing it for so long.

Combine those two with the fact that I love entrepreneurs and people with a passion to start business and succeed, and I am constantly motivated to help out.

I think that most people being helpful here stems from us also having to faced the same roadblocks that others faced before. At the same time today I might help someone with something and tomorrow when I need help others will help me - so it just keeps going.

I love getting offline tips or a great graphics package from the WF, so I know I'm being helped and it's always good to turn around and help others out.

    That's what a community is all about. ; )

Wow. I have yet to post anything here or even look through it much not having had to venture yet into offline marketing, or at least not having understood the necessity of it. I have experienced a bit of a harsh welcome though, also- smaller post counts seem to get stereotyped pretty quickly, but you've got to start somewhere, right?

I'll definitely be spending some time looking through this section to see what this is all about, this thread makes me feel like I won't have to feel so self-conscious about what questions I ask because they may be common knowledge to others and ridiculed.

What sad is that this is an actual topic, this is suppose to be what a forum is like. The sad fact that other forums have gotten away from the reason the warrior froum was created in the first place is sad.

Have I said the word sad enough yet?!?

In this entire forum everyone is suppose to be doing exactly what this room is doing. Us who have been through the rope are suppose to be here teaching others.

"Then", after ones rep is built properly the sales of ones WSO's or other services will increase based on reputation not by "suckering" you into buying a half done service or report.

Its called integrity which is was is vastly missing in the business world today and is one of the main reasons for this forum and this room.

The warriors who dare to do so will call out anyone not doing it the right way, which bring me back to this thread subject. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE HELPING AND TEACHING.........
