I just learned that a well-known Fortune 500 company, who mostly markets B2B, has hired an IM firm, which I have NEVER heard of, to manage it's SEO. This Fortune 500 company DOES NOT show up on the first page of the local markets it is in -- although it is a Top 3 Competitor in it's product offerings -- and is extremely concerned about getting both local and mobile placement improvement, as well.

Obviously, this F500 has the same concern about ranking and generating more leads for its staff... as Joe the Plumber does down the street.
Makes you go hmm?
