QR Code Opt-In - Does This Exist?

Hi Warriors,

I am looking for something very basic but for some reason cannot find a qr code service provider that creates and provides the qr code, but also hosts the opt-in page the person goes to after they scan the code. Here is what I mean:

1. Scan the QR Code
2. Directed to a basic opt-in page hosted by the QR Code company that captures their name, email, and phone number.
3. After they opt-in they are directed to the company website.

Seems very basic but I can't find someone out there who does this for the life of me. Just companies that create the QR Code. Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance.

    Jamie,

Do it yourself mate, it's easy.

    1. Create QR code. Plenty of free QR code generators online.

    2. Create a a mobile optimized landing page with the optin form. Again, very easy to do. There's plenty of mobile site builders out there that will do the job.

    3. Grab your autoresponder code and paste it into your landing page.

    Done!

of course you'd have to tell the form where to to send the subscriber and it must be i a mobile optimized environment. Keep that in mind as that is where may go wrong. You have to think the whole path through from start to finish... it must all take place in a mobile friendly environment.

    Hope that helps.

PM me me if anything is not clear.

      Hey Stewart,

Thanks for the feedback! That is what I have been doing up until now, and want to get away from the doing it myself and focus more on getting more clients. Hence looking for something were it is all in place

you might want to do it with a sms signup page, we integrated it with a custom twilio/openvbx set up and it works great

we have a custom coded page integrated with twilios api that sends them a sms - once they enter in their phone number asking them to reply back with yes to confirm their subscription - our customized openvbx handles the subscription and the sending out the blast

makes more sense to do it via sms if they are already using their phone and are scanning qr codes, plus the response rate for sms is in our experience so far much much higher than any email blast we have done ie responses literally in minutes of sending a sms blast... we also use our own qr code tracking service too to see when and where our marketing materials are being scanned

    For E-Mail:

Use an autoresponder service like AWeber and make use of the E-Mail provided for each of your list. Create your QR Code (E-Mail = yourlist @ awber.com), Subject line, and Body text. Place QR Code on your site. Use a custom confirmation, thank you etc. mobile ready page for your list and the autoresponder service does the rest for you.

    FOR SMS
Use Twilio API - there a plenty of options to use Twilio - thrid oarty platforms, search freelance sites for developers (you can get custom scripts with contact lists, list management, autoresponders etc.) for a few hundred $.
