Well, i was going to tell you where to go, and how to get there.

but instead, ill take this moment to say.

Just because i talk phone sales, don't for one minute think its
all i know, or all i do. It just happens to be what i like to talk about.

When the threads about "where to go online to get the best
deal on post cards or flyers", or "who is running a special"

I don't jump in, because its boring

When threads start asking what kind of DM works better, lumpy
single pages, postcards, catalogs ect

I don't jump in, because its all about testing, individual success will
vary with each persons campaign.

When i have a job that needs to be done or a campaign that needs
to be created and tested, this is how i roll.






but i guess maybe your right... my DM advice is worthless, i am just
a phone spammer trying to sucker the newbies and i have never mailed
anything in my life...

    Yeah that's really screwed up, I have a call room with six telemarketers and I never really talk about cold calling much but I'd be pissed if someone told me "how dare you..."

    Both cold calling and direct mail are almost impossible to explain how to do right to someone who doesn't really have experience in the first place with it. I've never met someone who really understands how the numbers and variables work until they've tried it (and most of the time failed at it).

    Taking action is actually not nearly as difficult as keeping up at it once you realize how much work it really is to make it effective. Then it finally becomes easy after that realization. But I've never found anyone that can understand it without actually some seriously depressing moments and mistakes first. What a moron.

    I hope that idiot read this thread and goes back to wondering if his wordpress design service will pick up if he can just angle the stamps crookedly enough to increase the open rate. Or maybe find the birth year of the target owner and put lucky pennies with that year on them in the envelope!

    I have to say That Ken, since I have gotten to know him via skype, not only impresses me but kind of "astounds" me a bit. This dude is serious marketing talent.
