An offline service to offliners?

One of the things that most offline IMs don't seem to realize is that SALES SKILLS and being able to communicate well are king.

I never thought of myself as a salesperson, but I now understand that I am a very good one, and I believe it is just because I am sincerely interested in helping clients make more money. However , I am burned out on my offline biz and need a little "vacation" from my work.

I was thinking of coaching IMs over skype to be better at their in person presentation / sales skills - voice control, physical presence, confidence....

I am not talking about sales methods or old school tricks, but more in how to be a really effective communicator in person and on the phone by being in control of your "persona" before talking to clients.

Do you have any opinion on if this would be a good service and what to charge?

I think you touched on something notable here -- teaching will increase your OWN learning. In school I've always been told that helping my peers is beneficial for me as it emphasizes and validates the things in one's head. I feel as though it would probably have a similar result in this case. Best of luck.

Thanks Jon - I have found that to be true in every instance where I share something I know with others. I always tell people to watch out for teachers who think they know everything and instead to look for the one's that want to know more!

There is indeed a huge potential in offline marketing. Quite a few tips and ebooks on this WF too, anyone found a particular one work?
