These are some tools that I use daily to keep me calm and profitable.

FreshBooks - Online Invoicing, Accounting & Billing Software
Freshbooks is great for invoicing and receipt distribution.

Proposal Software | Bidsketch
Bidsketch lets you create proposals soooo much quicker than how we are used to doing it the old fashioned way.

http://shoeboxed.com/
I hate receipts...with Shoeboxed, I can take a picture with my Iphone, have it uploaded to my account, and have all my transactions in a nice spreadsheet.

Free Online Accounting Software for Small Business - Wave Accounting
Wave integrates with Freshbooks and Shoeboxed to streamline your accounting.

https://www.zoho.com/crm/
Zoho is a great/free CRM tool.

Project management software, online collaboration: Basecamp
Basecamp is great for managing multiple projects with your outsourcers and clients.

Accurate Time Tracking Software | Time Doctor
Time Doctor is one of my favorites. After using it for a couple weeks, you can get a good idea of exactly how you spend your time online. Furthermore, it's great for managing your outsourcers who bill you hourly.

https://signnow.com/
Great for signing documents online.

https://getosmosis.com/#plans
If you're a web designer, client intake can be smoothed out with the use of Osmosis. Very easy way of getting the info you need to begin the project.

Tax Receipts
Educate yourself on tax deductions and save lots of money throughout the life of your business.

This is a pretty lengthy list. Most of these tools have free trials so you can give them a try.

I've been looking @ BaseCamp as well as Freshbooks as well myself. Thanks - this has potential to be a nice little WF directory for this type of resource.

Might I suggest one that is still quite helpful yet not talked about much in the subforum anymore?
    http://www.google.com/calendar

Haha, seriously though - I don't know where I would be without it. Keeps all my callbacks and appointments in check, and I have it synced with all of my devices.

    Thanks for the thread!

Good list. I've used basecamp for years. Works great. Hardest part is getting your people to actually use it.

Did not know that...that's pretty cool. I actually integrate Freshbooks to Wave...and Shoeboxed to Wave. Wave is able to accurately track all of my incoming funds and my expenses.

I liked the presentation video of Asana. Truly interesting. But a bit expensive for 100 $/month for 30 people. Small business would spend 1,200 $ per year, even if they got like 10 people... hmmm... back to the white boards, papers and e-mails!

Hey, there are smartphones and paper notebooks

Great list. The tools that you have provided will really help a lot to monitor not only how you work but also if you have remote employees who are charging you for hours worked. Effective employee monitoring software like Basecamp and Time Doctor can increase productivity and efficiency a lot.

It's very nice of you to share things like these. Im sure this has been a great help for most visitors. The best thing I love with your post is your slogan "Make a living by earning....make a life by giving." Thumbs up for this. Life is temporary. Should have no time for greed. We should live and give.

    Hi,

Thanks for the listing. You can also update another highly recommendable software, Handdy Invoices, where the users are able to make their professional invoicing online in minutes.
