HELP with Google 7 Pack

Hey warriors! Quick question for all you offline pros. Is there a quick way of finding out which keywords trigger the 7 box? I have been doing some keyword research for a local client and some keywords launch the 7 packs and some don't. Funny thing is that if I change the browsers location I can enter the same keyword which did not launch the 7 pack and now it does.

Is there a piece of software out there that can do this?

Please any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try to do a google search, there is several software on the market for it.
I agree that '7 pack' is getting crazy now.

Yes, I agree that Google's local search is a bit crazy and unpredictable. Thing is I'm not sure where to even begin the search. I mean what do you search for? Google 7 Pack predictor? LOL

ebookdaddy, I had a long pdf on searches that triggered google places, but I can't find it now. I'm looking for it.

If you want send me a PM with your email and I'll send you a different PDF from a company who sells leads. Most of the services listed should be what you are looking for.

I don't think there's a tool that can do that. Usually it's location + service, service + location etc A lot of time Google's doesn't display the 7 packs for keywords you would think it will display. Overall I don't think such a tool is built since in my opinion there's no really a way to determine that. I am sure tools like Places Scout and such might do something close.

You don't need a tool. Use the keywords that are most important to you and build your citations correctly. Everything will fall into place.

Hey man, this can be done with Places Scout's rank tracker...i don't have a special dedicated section to do this, but its simple enough to accomplish with the current functionality.

Use Places Scout to create a ranking report, paste a list of keywords in, enter the Google Location Settings you would like to use for each keyword...tracked site doesn't matter since we aren't concerned with tracking a site (enter any site), and run the report.

In the results that come back for each keyword, under the 'Organic Rank - Rank Type' column you will see what type of results that keyword triggers in parentheses. It will show something like 'Not in Results (Blended)' or 'Not in Results (7-Pack)' - text in parentheses will tell you what type of results that keyword triggers. If you see just 'Not in Results' then that keyword didn't trigger blended results or a 7-pack. If you just want a list of keywords that trigger blended / 7-pack results you can custom filter the results down to just those, copy and paste, export, ect.

Anyways just though i'd share a way to do this. PS might be a bit overkill and pricey if this is all you need, but if you use the rest of the features its well worth the investment.

    Hope this helps.
