Anyone else frustrated with the Google places/plus changes?

Has anyone found it extremely frustrating the last few months to work with Google Places, Google Plus since they made all the changes a few months ago?

I try to stay up on the latest but I've found it much, much harder to rank new clients for google places/plus and some former clients have found their listings disappearing or merged then disappearing.

I've always tried to follow their guidelines, nothing blackhat, etc and have always been able to produce good results for my clients but not anymore.

Anyone as frustrated as I am?

    I'm surprised the change affected your rankings. The change was almost purely cosmetic, so your rankings should not have been affected.

    Now duplicates would affect ranking, though...

    Can you give some more details regarding your methods? I'd be happy to trouble-shoot with you.

    Changes bring opportunities you can exploit I can't get why the listing disappeared. It did not happen at all; I've clients who setup their own google plus etc.. and I presume you know more than them and their listing still up and running and didn't disappear.

    You should've done something wrong; try taking Kung fu offer and let him see where your mistakes are coming from..if ever there are..

    I'm also surprised that the change affected your rankings. For me getting great ranking is as easy as it was before. Maybe it was not transition to Google Plus but Penguin update?

      I'm surprised to hear from so many saying nothing has changed for them but I'm glad I asked. I've been doing places for several years and tried to stay up with the experts on googles help forum so I thought I knew what I was doing. I will take Kung Fu backlinks up on his generous offer.
