    Hi Ewen,

Thanks for posting the study. It's a study one can use to show future clients the proof they need to do SEO. One needs to put it into a nice pdf.

With organic you never have to pay for your competition checking you out.

In my own testing PPC gets 2X the clicks. It always depends on the client. SEO is great to help decrease their monthly spending on PPC. Both should be used together, but PPC is so great and the results are immediate that people are shooting themselves in the foot by not offering it.

Thanks for the share, Ewen. Love it when I can back up my claims with solid evidence like this.

Iamnameless is right too. A nice combination of the 2 is usually a great idea.

IamNameless, 2x the click for PPC, is that your overall average? Should be lower than that for pos#1 but higher for 8-10.

I wouldn't mind if you were to elaborate on this. I'm planning to sell online services to some potential clients soon and I'd love to get your perspective of how I would be screwing them, and how I can change that.

This whole thread shows how research, tests,
and own experience can make a solid case for either
      or a combination.

The trick is to build your solid case to your prospects.

A great debater and trial Attorney can build a case on either side.

      Now go strengthen your case.

      Best,
      Ewen
