How Many Inbound Leads Are You Getting Per Month?

One thing I'm always working on is increasing the amount of inbound leads my business gets monthly. Right now I'm at about 30...that's 30 more than the previous month so I'm not complaining. Mostly all of these are Craigslist so far, but I'm looking to expand into direct mail and PPC.

So my question for you is, what are you doing to increase the amount of leads coming to you asking for your help?

  • Right now I'm doing direct mail and PPC.

I've sent 63 Sales Letters and received 2 leads. 1 for PPC and 1 for SEO.

I think the one for PPC will close. Not sure about the SEO one. Both had previously been in contact with YP.com and were some what familiar with SEO.

As for PPC, I just started and am doing it locally. I've gotten 5 clicks but no leads yet. I've done it before so I expect anywhere from 10-25% of clicks will lead to a lead. As for closing I haven't had a good experience with that. 1 deal closed out of 170 clicks at about $1,700 in ad spend. It was a small client who talked me down to $300/mo. Learned my lesson. Won't do that again. Trying a new approach.

As far as Craigslist goes, 30 leads is awesome. What are selling? Websites, SEO, SMS?

Also, are you posting multiple ads a day and in different cities?

Yea my Craigslist campaign is a behemoth. 2,000 ads per month in 11 metro areas offering SEO & web design.

$1700 is ad spend and only 1 close? Did you split test your landing page for maximum conversions? That seems a bit low.

I tested different ads and saw some improvement.

As for the landing pages, I made some pretty drastic changes. It's been my experience with other clients that you need at least 200 clicks per landing page to get an idea if the landing page is working or not. I got 170 across probably 5 different landing pages.

when you send you add a link.

If for some reason you DON'T know what i am talking about. P.M. me

The best thing you can do is put yourself out there.
