OFFLINE MARKETING

Hi

just started using skype for telemarketing, checked everything is connected ok

the problem is people often cannot hear me , any advise what headset microphone will be the best

I use cresyn and sometimes logitech. Skype, the newest version, has this self analyzer that tells you what exactly is wrong when something goes wrong. Have you checked that part yet? Make sure that your settings are set right and if you've been using your headset for a long time, chances are it's your computer or internet connection..

If it's not your hardware, check your wireless connection. Make sure you have a good upload speed

You can check the problem if it's from your side or theirs by using Echo/Sound Test Service. If you hear your own voice clearly, then the problem is on their side or the connection. Let them also try it to see where exactly the problem is before buying new set of headsets/headphones.

Check ALL the volume controls. The one on your mike/headset. And especially the main volume control on your PC--there's one just for "microphone" and almost all the time on mine it's set to "Mute." People can hear me...barely...until I click that little check button and BAM! I'm coming in loud and clear.

Make sure your hardware is functioning fine and your Internet connection is up to speed. If everything is deemed OK and you're still experiencing problems, it may be on the other user's connection

Just go into a store and ask the advisor about a good headset, get a good headset, as you ears hurt after a while when you use cheap plastic ones.
