website client help

I am trying to put together a quote for a client on a site for her business. She sells organic food which she picks up in the valley and delivers to local residents.

The fro t end is easy enough I know I can put it together with a wp ecommerce solution.

She is wanting to create several reports in her admin area for orders and other administrative tasks she does manually right now.

Can anyone help me with where to look for a solution to handle this? I'm thinking I might need a database designed to handle this. However if I have a wp database solution would I be able to write reports from this?

    Hopefully the ecommerce package will come with some form of reporting and stock level control. Cart66 for Wordpress has pretty good reports that you can access from WP Admin. I guess the question is what data does she really need?

    Her reports help her put together what she needs to pickup from each farm. Then one report summarizes each order so she can put the boxes together for each customer.

    She is doing a lot of duplicate work that I want to help her eliminate. I'll look at cart 66.

    Vgvetter thanks for the link. Not sure it will work though. Is this your own solution?

    I will need to create three lists. One of customers and one of farms she gets food from and one of pick up locations.

    When orders are in for the week I want a report that tells me what she needs to get from each farm based on orders.

    Then a report that shows how much of each item goes to each pick up location.

    Finally a report to show what items each customer bought for the worker to put together at the pick up locations.

    That link was the premium plugin used to meet my needs....It allows download of product and customer data to CSV files which I think could be sorted to provide the data your client needs (Haven't actually done so).

    Would think other shopping carts would also have such capability, and you'll have a happy client.

    I love and use WooCommerce plugin and themes.

    "At a glance you can check your stores overall performance, or drill down and inspect daily sales, monthly sales, individual product sales, top sells and top earners. Fine tune your store and push it to it’s maximum performance."

    This plugin can be expanded to any size store you need. There are hundreds of plugins for it that just install right into Wordpress.
