WP End User Training Recommendations?

Hi

I'm looking for training materials for Wordpress end users. Basically how to use Wordpress to maintain your site (not setup etc.)

Can anyone recommend anything?

  • What I've done in the past (I haven't done this in at least 2 years) is create a PDF of screenshots of their actual WP Admin and it would show basic things like add a page, add images, delete a page, etc... I haven't done this in a long time though since most clients I actually handle all the backend stuff.

    I have also just linked them to the WordPress manual and told them everything they need to know is in there and they can call or email me with anything specific. It usually only takes a quick walk through so they can learn to add and edit pages, it's pretty straight forward in WordPress.

    • I use the WP101 Tutorial Plugin. It delivers tutorial videos directly to the client's dashboard, and they're always up to date with the latest WP version.
