Anyone have any experience marketing for a small independent insurance adjusting company? I know they would need more than just a great website and listing in directories? I feel like there would not be much to offer them in ways of online and offline marketing, I feel it would mostly be up to them to develope relationships with insurance companies to get the work from? Can you think of anything that can be done to help them grow there existing business, I feel like working linked in, and maybe facebook could help, along with some good copywrite emails, any other ideas or ways to work my current ones. Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks

I would be interested in seeing some responses to this.

    You say independent....?
Do you work for the people as a public insurancd adjuster or are you contracted through insurance companies?

They are contracted through insurance companies to handle claims on behalf of the insurance company.

In which case their clients are the insurance companies...right?

Lets get clear on this first before we can set a plan.

Then they need to work out what problem they can solve for them.

      Has a unique offer

and find the right person in those companies to reach.

Thats a given. Finding the right person could take some work but could be achieved. A unique offer could be the difficult part as there is not to many unique aspects of claims adjusting that I can think of other than doing more for less money and nobody wants to play that game to get new business. The main problem in the claims adjusting industry for the insurane company is turn arround time and sometimes quality of reports.

Not real sure how to crack that market with this information.
