Can Anyone Solve This Little Problem I'm Having?

Hey all,

Feeling very frustrated here. I've been immersed in this problem and wouldn't mind some outside and perspective.

I put up a new landing page from Bing PPC for Website Design. Here are the details:

- Visitors are spending and average of 2 minutes on this landing page (including benefits, features, pricing, the kitchen sink etc).
- 30% are clicking the button at the bottom of the page that says "Sign Up For Website Design" after pricing and plans information.
- 0% fill in the sign up form or call a toll free number on the next page.

Also: If I move the form / number onto the landing page, still 0%.

So, Why are 30% of people clicking the "Sign up" button at the bottom of the page and then doing nothing?

I've tested different CTA and sign up pages...still 0%. I'm struggling for answers. Anyone got a possible solution to this?

we would need to see what is exactly on the page after clicking sign up. Obviously something turning off the buyers

Show the page, then we'll get somewhere.

How much traffic you're getting and where you're getting it from would help too.

My thoughts are... they are clicking that button to learn more information. Does the 1st page give them enough information to make a buying decision.

Of course this is going blind. Can you show us the page?

Probably curiosity leads them to click, they're just tire kickers. The others are are your competition checking it out. Not everyone who finds your site is your target.

as others have mention we need to see the page...

But we also need to see your ppc ad so we can understand the context and mindset of the traffic you are generating

It's a full message thing. It could be the keywords, it could be the ad, it could be the page, or it could be all of the above. Not sure you want to show everything up here but it usually comes down to a couple of basic things. Either your message isn't very clear or not what they were expecting to see from the ads/keywords that sent them there. Or you have chosen keywords that aren't really buyer keywords. Maybe they are in the research phase and they get to a page asking for an action on their part they aren't ready for. That's generally the case without looking at the campaign to know for sure.

Also, does the signup link actually work? Have you gone through the process on more than one computer?
Maybe you're sales pitch just creates curiosity and isn't asking for the sale...

Without the link its useless but you dont often see a return rate that low. Perhaps double check everything is working on your end.

The best thing you can do is put yourself out there.

I guess since you didn't provide a link you don't really want everyone to see it. Others before me had valid reasons for what is happening, in addition to those your form may be too long.

How much info are you collecting?
Would it be best to just collect a way to contact them and get the rest of the info by call? This will also setup a warm call.

Facebook only asks for name, email, age and password to keep it short & simple. Remember, people are extremely lazy. Facebook would have a lot less members if they asked just a couple more questions to create an account.
