    Watched the replay and some really great info. Especially love the 'secret ninja' tactic which I just started doing recently. Thanks for confirming my original thoughts on doing it.

    Hey Rus can you tell me why using that plugin and posting those reviews on behalf of reviewers is different from posting for reviewers on other sites.

    Other than from a TOS point of view , isnt this still frowned upon?

      Eddie, what plugin do you speak of? Posting on behalf of or for reviewers needs to be disclosed. It's like reviews by proxy. The person who writes the review needs to also be the one creating the account and the one actually posting the reviews.

      If a firm or agency or even a business owner post's reviews of or for its customers it must be disclosed.

    I was referring to the review plugin in your powerpoint, forgot name .
    I get it though, just disclose it, would you go so far as to copy the comment cards
    and post them on website as well?

      You could do that, one thing I've done is scan comment cards and then put them on a page as well.

        This might really help in the opposite customer demographic of the webcam reviews. There are some businesses that have customers who are older and less upscale, and wouldn't leave any kind of electronic review. But they'd drop or mail a physical card.

        Russ, do you make sure to have a place for 1-5 rating scale, as well as comments?

    Great webinar Russ. With regard to reviews, eyejot could be a useful, free application for collecting video reviews. Customers can leave video reviews using their webcam. The
    video quality may not be brilliant, but it adds a certain authenticity.

    I was on a webinar recently, which the manager of an insurance company stated he had quite a lot of success sending video emails to customers using iwwowe , this could be set up to redirect to a review site once the video completed.

      Interesting you mentioned the video recording for reviews. I was just looking at integrating that into Review Sentry as a feature! I'll have to google those services you mentioned! Thanks!

        It seems this would have success in a narrow customer demographic-- probably young upscale customers. But could be fantastic!

      That's the same as a paid review and the material connection must be disclosed.
