Decide how many clients you want (goal). This will be your focus. Don't worry about the actual calls they will take care of themselves just by doing them.

1. Dial a number
2. Engage prospect with a little realness. "Can I ask you a ?" Ask it.
3. Tell them a story about another client benefiting from your service.
4. They are interested at this point so tell them, I could go on all day about how much this can benefit you but I want you to see it for yourself.
5. So here's what I want to do: I want to send you a free report that shows you exactly how this works...
6. Capture email and close.
7. Make your report more informational than salesy
8. My team is now closing 27% that see our free report, and virtually no selling is involved, just social engineering of a simple "giveaway" call and report, with legendary follow up.
STILL TERRIFIED?
Get a mirror. Practice your script for an hour a day til you're confident as you need. These clients need you you're doing them a favor!!

  • Great and simple tips. But the hardest part is usually the easiest to-do; and in cold calling, it's picking up the phone. Many salespeople and marketers get terrified of rejections at the first sight of a phone, making them incapable of doing effective cold calling.
  • Excellent approach. Hopefully this will help somebody get their first sale and then their second and their third, etc.

  • Um...That's actually pretty good selling. If you don't want to call it that (around your people) fine. But it's pretty effective selling, from what I see.
