  • What can you do? You should start with selling what you know.

    • I am quite new to the internet marketing area so my knowledge is quite small but i can talk and I dont mind knocking on doors.

I am really just looking for ideas at where to start..
  • Maybe I should expand that statement...what do you want to SELL when you knock on doors? Can you design websites? Do you know SEO? Keywords? What do you know that is marketable?
  • There are many things you can do but there are some pretty solid methods that you can focus on first. Check out my sig for a free report that explains a couple of these methods and let me know what you think.

  • You didn't miss the boat. Offline Marketing is going strong IMO, more and more business are finally realizing they need to leverage the Internet to get new clients. Main services they are looking for is SEO, Search Marketing, Mobile and Social Media.
  • PM me and I'll send you Issue #1 of my "paper & ink" newsletter, The Doberman Dan Letter.

It's a complete plan outlining Gary Halbert's "Plan B" when he needed to make a lot of money fast by getting offline clients. I learned it during the 18 months I worked with him.

It's an ingenious way for "selling" something by NOT positioning yourself as a copywriter, consultant, advertising person, etc. It positions you as someone MUCH more important and respected.

I give you the complete A-to-Z marketing plan, complete with a proven sales letter to get offline clients... and a couple VERY cool techniques to ensure the client is practically BEGGING to speak with you.

For a rookie, this is probably one of the best ways to get started.

  • An easy way in my opinion to snatch up some brick & mortar clients is to sell them print & design services. On this forum you can find lots of talented designers, then use an online printing company like gotprint.com for super cheap printing.

Sell business cards, brochures, flyers, etc...
  • The best thing you can do is decide on a service that you find interesting and then go and talk to people about it. Its a simple as that. Once you get rolling develop it and see how you go.

The most important step is getting out there and doing something!
  • The boat is not even close to leaving the port yet for IM, nor will it be for a long long time (if ever). With change ALWAYS comes opportunity.

I would suggest pick ONE topic of internet marketing research it like a mad-man, then master it and implement it for yourself or others. It really only takes mastering ONE piece of the giant internet marketing puzzle to make some money and get started.

The MORE value you put into the world, the MORE you money you will earn for your efforts (if you have learned how to monitize well) however nothing can replace having a servant's heart in the work that you complete and offer.
  • Once you figure out what to sell, then you have to prospect.
