  • I've gotten similar letter from local dealers multiple times. Locally this method is pretty common. I don't know the response rate but it looks good and keeps getting used so I assume it is good.
  • I like the angle it takes. Somebody give some ideas on how this approach can be modified to market our "off line" stuff.

    Im thinking the ugly website approach for example find some ugly websites and write a note about how we are looking to give makeovers to show what can be done. We are look for 10 businesses who would like to get a makeover at a tiny fraction of the regular price if they would be willing to participate with before/after pics and testimonials.
