Groupon Clone for an Offline Client

I've been approached by a client who is planning a groupon kind of site in a specific niche.
Can anybody suggest which is the best script for the same apart from agriya,wroupon and few others.?
Did anyone have a custom made one along with the clones?
Also can someone in point in right direction regarding monetising the groupon site both for vendors and customers and probably for a consultant (me) too in terms of following:
1.Pricing
2.features
3.Upgrading the clone
4.advertisements
Or any other methods.
Happy to hear the warriors suggestions and ideas regarding and same.
Love if someone can refer the right person who can handle the tiny tit bits of script,coding errors and other tech stuff.
