Client Not Responding to Email- Should I Call or Text?

I'm having a bit of a time with a client, I completed a website for them yesterday to their specifications and I haven't heard from him in 24 hours, no response to my follow up email which is unusual.

Getting a bit worried something is not right or they're about to stiff me for the last half of payment...

Any advice appreciated

24 Hours is a little bit of a short time to begin worrying. We found sending a paper invoice via snail mail usually moved things along. Hope that helps.

Don't panic yet... business owners are always busy running their business so I'm sure they saw your email but just didn't have time to respond... give it a few more days then contact them again maybe call them and let them know you just calling to make sure they've received your email

    Don't panic.

    Don't text either...
You should be a professional, as a professional you should have the common courtesy to pick up the phone. Not slide out your keyboard and get into a thumb war.

Does your client know its time for the next payment?
It may be clear in your mind, but have you made it clear in theirs?
In words, get the point across. Don't let them come to their own conclusions.
You and them don't think the same way.

Just pick up the phone.... No need to worry after only 24 hours.

If you actually want to make a sale call them. Texts as follow ups just say I am lazy.

yes dont panic just yet, after 48 hours i would re send the email and follow it up with a phone call, if after 5 days you do not hear anything back pull your work, im sure we all have had problems with these type of customers before and you do not need them on your books, having said that in you case its early days yet so dont panic

24 Hours is a really short time. They are probably still reviewing the website. Often business owners will have one of their employees or a friend look over the website as well.

    Be patient.
