Can anybody suggest a wso on offline marketing ?

Hi,

I am pretty keen on getting started with offline marketing. I am still not sure what service to go out offering to businesses. Is there any wso that anybody could suggest that I buy in order to help me ?
I would also be grateful on any consulting tips on how I approach potential clients or promote my services to them. It seems that it is about closing the deals with these customers. (from what I am reading )

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks in advance for all your help,

    WSO's suck, don't buy them.

Secondly hang around this section and pay attention.
Some people know their stuff, others are ass wads.
And lastly, learn by trial and error.
I started 2 years ago and never gave up.
Take any advice with a grain of salt.
Only you can control what it is you do.

Can you help me weed out the people who know their stuff, and the ass wads? LOL

Common sense, testing, experience. No one is going to be able to give that to you, only you can get common sense. Only you can test what you learn. Only you will gain experience from the testing and effort you put in. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This is the best advice someone could give you.
I am not the wso type.
I have almost no time to teach someone what it is that they need to know.
Ewen Mack also said it best in regards to the shiny object syndrome.

          Work your ass off.
Do not buy information that is supposed to make you make money.
Most of the time you waste money.

I will give you three guys I believe know their stuff in regards to offline marketing....

          IAmNameless
          Ewen Mack
          Jason Kanigan

There are other guys on this forum I am sure but YOU are the one that needs to blaze the trail, take no prisoners and kick some ass and take names.

    Hi depp,

As a fellow newbie into the offline realm the biggest thing you would need to decide is what area of offline are you looking into...from there you can narrow down what...if any WSO's you might need.

For instance if you are looking at mobile web design there are a number of individuals who have templates, guides, etc...

The other thing you really want to do is look around here...there is an incredible amount of free information that you might want to try to absorb before you go spending any money on WSO's.

Best of luck and keep us update on your progress,
    Adrian

We just released one this week. It's consulting 1 on 1, for an hour, that will allow you to ask questions, get guidance, and figure out where you should be going. We cover everything from telemarketing (how to start, what to do, how to succeed on a call), script building, list building/how to pull, to a general marketing plan to figure out WHAT you should be doing. In addition, our new ebook is included. Check it out, if it's something of interest, we'd love to help!

With the exception of something like this, "most" WSO's are junk.

I really appreciate that. We just saw a need, lots of people that want to do offline, or telemarketing, or SOMETHING and have no idea what direction to go in. We've been doing the consulting for years with new clients we take on, so we decided to offer it as it's own service. The beauty is, that it's not a one size fits all WSO, you get what you need. Thanks for the kind words.

Most WSO's are tid bit garbage.
They cover one thing and don't go far into detail.
When someone offers a 1 on 1 to help your business then I would jump all over it. (if you need it)

While you remain undecided as to which business you want to get into,
you run the risk of buying into shining objects.

These leave a trail of destruction.

    So be careful while searching.

There are always fundamentals to all types of businesses.

They are to get and keep customers/clients.

Everything should be servant to those 2 things.

Keep those 2 things as your compass on your
    new path.

    Best,
    Ewen

I like John and those guys, but I also like Jason Kanigan. He's one of the few people on here that is honest, helpful, and very nice. I agree most WSO products on here are junk.

After buying close to 150 WSOs over the past 4 years.. I can attest to what others have mentioned. WSOs are mostly junk. I have every WP plugin, Mobile video marketing trick, facebook page builder, landing page builder, etc. that sounded good to me. They have not made me much money.

Echoing what others have said.. be very discerning on what you spend money on. Spend some time reading the forum threads and getting a sense of which direction you want to go in. Offline marketing has so many different angles you can approach from and services you can provide. Consider your current skills, talents and interests, would those be a marketable service to offline businesses?

Most of the money I have made is catering to those businesses with which I have an affinity. I am finding out that I should have heeded the advise in the famous work: Acres of Diamonds.
