All in one website or a website for each service?

Hi all,

Im just starting out and this one think has confused me for a while:

What do you advise, an all in one website offering all my services (web design, mobile site design, Google + Local, SEO, Social media marketing, Rep Management etc) or should I separate it more and have a site for each component (a site for Google + Local, a site for all mobile related services, a site for Rep Manamgement etc) or does it not matter and I am over thinking the whole process?

Thanks,
Rob

All other things being equal multiple sites are better (backlinking among your own sites / keywords in domain names, if someone googles you by brand name you'll dominate the SERP, etc.) but if you have limited capital to start up get one good page up and start making $$. It's a nice luxury but not required by any means.

Put all of your content in one place. Under one umbrella brand, which is your company name.

Yes you are over thinking it. No it's not necessary to have a website to start making money, even if you want to sell a web design service.

Get your first client, use the money to build the site.
