Google Places (Google+1 local) questions
Hi,
I recently started a local business and I have some questions about using Google Places. Any help would be appreciated.
(1)
I have read some information and I learned that it is better to have videos, many pictures etc. At this point I just opened my business and I don't have many photos or videos. Is it same as SEO and can you add videos and photos later and that would improve the ranking? In other words, can I apply now without them and improve the ranking later by adding pics and so on?
I'm wondering if I should wait till I have good pics and videos.

Two of my friends in the same business applied their accounts and they never got verification postcards (it's about 6months ago). We are all in a health care niche/business and the only thing I can think they have in common is that they are renting their treatment rooms from other businesses. So, they have their own business names but one is practicing in a Yoga studio and the other is renting a room for one day from a naturopath when she is not practicing. Could that be a factor or are their any occasions when Google does not send out the verification postcards? Do they contact the applicants when they can't approve the application?
