Any good business coach/consultant/mentor for service professionals?

Hi,

As mentioned in the title, do you know any good small business coaches/consultants for service professionals? If yes could you share their names and/or websites?

I'm looking for someone who would do one-on-one business coaching (phone/skype coaching, email coaching) specifically for self employed service professionals (lawyers, dentists, health care professionals etc.) or have many success stories with service professionals.

Thanks.

    I like:
    Chet Holmes
    Dan Kennedy
    Brian Tracy
    Jay Abraham
    Gary Halbert

That should give you enough to get started.
Great marketing principles aren't new, and can be applied to almost any business.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry I should have been more specific - I'm not looking for these "big names" who would charge thousands of dollars for an one-on-one coaching session, if they ever agreed to do that.

I'm more looking for someone who works for "ordinary" small business owners.
(and thanks for your PM I'll get back to you soon)

It's for marketing. One-on-one sessions for marketing and/or marketing plans etc.
It's for service professionals - so it wouldn't (usually) involve sales. Basically coaching on "how to get more clients."

For example I know Michel Port (Book yourself Solid) but he doesn't do one-on-one coaching other than in a long term coaching package which involves other things (group coaching, discussion board support etc.). I'm looking for someone who does simple one-one-one coaching through emails and/or phone/skype.

      Thanks again.

I think someone else's recommendations may not always be the right person for you. What you want is so unique it may not be what works for someone else.

Of course I do know that. I'm just looking for who are available then I'll research about them. I would just want information.

      Thanks.

What books have you read, courses taken, seminars attended?

Maybe you should exhaust those resources, before you get a coach. It would save you lots of time and money. I've been in coaching programs. If you don't do extensive ground work beforehand, they need to waste time catching you up on the basics.

And what most people would call advanced, the coaches think of as basics.

If you mean paying someone $100 an hour for training by Skype....it's better to watch the video training from the masters that vndnbrgj mentioned.

And I can tell you this, the marketing is 99.99% the same whether it's a service business or brick and mortar store. And most coaches in these niches are just students of one of the big Gurus, notably Dan Kennedy.

Go on E-Bay, buy any 4 Dan Kennedy courses (maybe $150 total) and that will keep your eager little brain busy for quite a while.

And if you haven't bought Chet Holmes's book The Ultimate Sales Machine, and used a highlighter on it...you are wasting time reading this. Go get it.

Oh, and I wouldn't think too much about hiring Gary Halbert or Chet Holmes, their dead...both major losses to the marketing world. But their wisdom lives on in books, DVDs, and Cds.

As much as I appreciate your answer, I still feel the need for a coach.
I'll explain where I come from a bit.

I have been making a good money ONLINE, and although I got slapped by Google I still make 3-5K a month. When everything was much batter, I made over 20K a month. But it was not something I wanted to do. I started online business because I needed money while I was a student for something I wanted to do.

Now I have graduated from the school and I started my off line business, and while I apply my on line marketing knowledge to get clients and I do get some from it, I know I am missing out from referrals or other off line methods.

Yes I could read books etc. however most I learned for my on line marketing was from one-on-one coaching from my coach and I want that for my off line business too. I learn most that way. For example, I tried my best and came up with my headline for my sales letter (online), my on-line coach changed one phrase or line from it and my sales doubled. I need someone who could do similar for my off line stuff. (btw he is not available for off line stuff and he is not available in English - my market were not in the English speaking countries)

Whatever you think I should do (seminar, books etc.), they might be right and they might work. And I do appreciate again for your inputs in regard to what books, DVDs etc. are good. However I am asking "who are good business coaches for service professionals that do on-on-on coaching and available" and I would appreciate if you could stick to what I have been asking and tell me who they are.

I actually avoided to say for what I needed them etc. in the first post so that I could get specific information for "who are good business marketing coach for service professionals."

          Thanks.

I'd highly recommend Kevin Nations...he is awesome and a super fun person to work with! I believe he has a sales training program for service professionals and is just an overall marketing/sales machine

Msg/connect with him on Facebook and see if you like his vibe, tell him Preeti sent you and he'll treat you extra sweet!

Oh and his testimonials..are CRAZY! I can say this with confidence because I work with him and with 1 minor tweak in my sales strategy, I booked 8 clients in a week..yup, not even kidding!!!

Msg me or FB me if you have any other questions. I'm always happy to recommend good, quality people that I truly believe in.
