Craigslist, IP address

This is a simple question. I have 4 different CL accounts and I am about to post in my city and I am wondering if I need to also consider changing my IP address? If yes, do I change with every post? And of course what is the easiest way to do this?

I've already searched on the forums, but I've read conflicting information from warriors who use Craigslist on whether or not there is a need to change the IP address.

Disclaimer: I don't condone violating their terms of service. First thing you need to do, is decide for yourself if you're posting within their guidelines.

The reason why there's conflicting reports, is because Craigslist has fulltime employees monitoring their site manually.

If you get flagged, they might look.

If your post looks shady, they might look.

If your post gets flagged for automation (or what they perceive to be as automation) they might look.

Basically, you don't want one of their employees looking at your posts, because then you risk getting your posts removed.

I'd say, if you're posting frequently, you should get different accounts with different IP addresses.

That is, if you're really in it to win it.

You could get a private proxy for each account.

I can tell you that if you already read something I said regarding the subject it doesn't matter who else disagrees or gives conflicting advice because I'm right, and they're wrong.

I realize I sound like a cocky dick by saying that, but it is the truth.

But a Anonymous Proxy Server is the desire of many Internet users who wish to conduct their Internet activity in total anonymity. Despite the fact that we have used the term IP (Internet Provider) address, many of us do not realize just what that terms means. Many of us do not understand how an IP Address is used to track the Internet user. Many of us do not realize how much information is given away each time our computer connects to the Internet. Nowadays there are software-based solutions available to protect the identity of your computer as well. If you install such software on your computer, it will modify certain internet connection settings and will provide a fake IP relay to hide your real IP address not only while browsing, but also while you are sending e-mails or using other applications, being compatible with numerous platforms. Some of these pieces of software can be downloaded free of charge, while others are available for a certain fee after completing and submitting an order form.

Your IP address leaves your computer exposed while you are accessing websites on the internet, leaving the contents of your files uncovered and vulnerable to the attacks of cybercriminals. By implementing one of the above security measures, you can easily protect your computer and the data stored on the computer from unwanted visitors and cyber attacks, saving yourself from a lot of trouble.

I realize this is an old thread, but since it's been bumped...

OP, if your still around, why would you need multiple accounts/IP to post four ads in one city? As long as they're not identical and they're relevant to the categories in which you're posting - you shouldn't need more than one account/IP.

Just bought a WSO - Craigslist Crusher, it's about $17 dimesale tho. and you only need to change IP per account per city. the course goes into detail and steps how to set up and why. I didn't buy the upsell and it was very good. Researched and tested how to do multiple acts in multiple cities, doing 1-200 ads a day. Basil the creator is making a good living. I learned alot from this short course.

We must have been typing our replies at the same time. I picked-up Basil's WSO, too. Anyone looking to master CL posting should check it out.

Try using private proxy or IP software to avoid account suspension
