OFFLINE MARKETING

I have a client who is interested in getting a website made for his dog business. I is a breeder wants a website with information about his dogs and all that stuff. I've looked around on the internet and haven't found any sites that look good. All are pretty old like late 90s and early 2000s type websites.

Question is which wordpress theme would you recommend to start with for a website like this?

Yeah, go the Wordpress route. Find a nice paid theme that you and your customer like. Customize the look and feel of the site by adding a nice logo and tweaking the color scheme. Then just add the content to the site, and boom you're done.

There are a lot of Wordpress themes available on the web, either for free or paid ones.

You can choose the free themes if you want a theme for a trial without spending your money.
For free dog themes designs, try to check themesjunction.com,

But free themes sometimes offer mediocre ones that are used so often by others.
If you have a remarkable content for the dog site, then you deserve a special theme for this one.
You can check the themes from i3dthemes.com, templatepanic and templatemonster.com.

Another option is a "kit" web templates, stock photos, and logos all themed with dogs Dog Breeds CD ROMs with HTML Layouts, CSS files, and Graphics

  If this is for a client, you're really better off actually going with a paid theme. It will be more unique and probably more professional looking (though sometimes you can find good free ones). This site is good:

  I suggest having the client pick out sites they already like so you can look for similar color themes/layouts; that's the best way to search themes. Also find out ahead of time exactly what content they want on the site so you can imagine how it will work with a theme.

I suggest that you purchase premium themes. I had bad experiences with free themes. Just my experience.
