What is your biggest offline marketing problem?

Are you struggling to sell and get clients? Are you struggling with cold calling? Are you struggling to make customers buy from you again?

What is your biggest problem? Or WAS (If you have already overcome the problem)

The biggest problem is to get a decision maker. I love canvassing, face to face cold calling works for me since i am able to build a rapport fast but as always "...he/she is in a meeting leave your contact he will call you. I am not a phone person I guess I fear that little gadget

Peter, you have to be persistent and keep trying.

      I explain why here:

Once you get the name of your DM, you get a high probability time to call them back. And you calendar it and do it. 4 more dials at that time. If it doesn't work out, call the gatekeeper back and ask for another time; "Has anything changed in their schedule this week?" Then keep trying at that new time.

Your calendar quickly fills up with high probability times to call back DMs. Now you're making progress.

As for my own offline struggles, right now I'm transitioning to FB and LI. I want to automate a lot of my leadgen. The cost of advertising (PPC) on those sites is huge...$1 - $2 per click. I can get clicks at double the "average" clickthru stat LI gives, but then the signups on the landing page are low. So some tweaking needs to be done there. If just 5% of those who click through sign up, and then 1% of those actually buy, it's a losing proposition: the cost of the clicks is 5 - 10X the revenue of the product. Tough crowd, tough crowd!

In general it would be client acquisition. I have found focusing on a specific vertical makes it a little easier.

First having enough business cards to pass out when I got out.. then it's Time and project management when it comes to doing the work itself... So happy I found basecamp and clockodo... life savers.

For selling -- I have a marketing team that does it for me. They gather leads and I provide the service for them after they know just what they want and just need a price. Saves me time and prevents me from getting hurt feelings for hang ups and rude people..
