I would post your resume on local craigslist and also big citys near you, theres tons of companys looking for cold callers. Even I am. message me on Skype, if you want, with your hourly rate.

Be active online, post your services. As early as now, gather all the leads you can. Call them, introduce your services, that way when 2013 comes they have your information on hand.

Elance, odesk and other freelancing sites have gigs for telemarketing. I have found projects where $25 - $35 /hour can be earned, provided you have the ability to demonstrate your ability.

I'm looking to hire on hourly. It's free trial sign ups with a guaranteed 30% increase in traffic. We have a lot of well known clients to use as references. Thing is the job is hard. Getting a hold of the decision makers can be hard at times since they're always busy or out of the office. If your not aggressive and don't have good follow up skills then it'd just be a struggle. There is a whole industry built for this obviously, and there are common practices and ways of getting more business than you can handle. The issue with being a "hired gun" cold caller is different than other businesses.

In many industries you may not have a ton of avenues for gaining business, and all the ability in the world to do fulfillment, but in Cold Calling- there are TONS of people and different industries and companies interested in your service...Way more than you could ever fulfill. The big problem is choosing what kind of gigs you want to target, and its very easy to take on more business than you can handle if you arent careful.

You can make $15 per lead working for an individual health insurance agent, or you could make $100 per lead for a group benefits seller.... or you can make 50-$100 per lead , writing leads for offline Warriors....

There are more possibilities than you probably imagine. I once placed an ad here to test it, see how the market among offliners was for "hired gun" cold calling ,and to maybe take on a couple of cold calling contracts...

Within 24 hours In had so much business that I had to shut the offer down, and send most of it back. Maybe 5-6 clients all making multi hundred dollar pre-orders... It's easy to get more business than you can handle.

I use to have a small room that did lead generations for insurance companies...Honestly offline its not worth it though, because if you can wield a phone, why not write your own business?

As you see below....even the slight MENTION that you are a cold calling gun for hire, generates interest. Its a hot industry if that is your chosen business model.

Almost EVERYONE could use a decent cold caller.
