Rep Management Question - 2 Names?

Well, not really two names, but the same name 2 different ways.

Jeff & Jeffery.

Someone goes by both, and things (actually the same thing) come up in search results for both.

So, as a rep mgmt consultant, what is the best way to work that search result away for both 'Jeff Smith' & 'Jeffrey Smith'?

It only makes sense to target both names.

Yes, by the way, I AM in the Witness Protection Program. I could tell you who I am but then I would have to kill you.

    • Well sure, but typically you only have 1 LinkedIn profile, 1 FB page, etc.

Curious how those that are more experienced have handled this kind of an issue...

Sorry for my perceived lack of experience but I wasn't just thinking in terms of LinkedIn or Facebook.

Websites, videos, articles, press releases, etc....I would go after both names with the resources that weren't "limited" and use the ones that were "limited" on the name MOST associated with the client.

BTW...just so you know...you say "typically" you only have one LinkedIN or Facebook but the fact is you can have as many as you want. In cases of reputation management, and most other areas of life, rules are bent and broken all the time.
