What products can you create and sell offline (over the phone)?

Does anybody know what types of products one can create to sell to businesses over the phone? So, I'm not talking about services, but actual products.

  • The biggest thing that comes to mind is training. That would be packages with videos, books, and etc.

    Since you want it to be something you create and you don't want to offer a service that elminiates a lot of what businesses buy.

    As for what kind of training to offer it really depends on your skills. What can you train me on?

    Also on a side note the reason most B2B selling is for services vs. products is that businesses are looking for someone to do these things for them.

    • Well, I guess it doesn't have to be products, but I just want to automate everything by outsourcing. I thought products might be easy since all you'd do is ship or transmit something you've already created.
  • You can "automate" any business.

    Think about it this way does the Walton Family have to work or do they have people running Wal-Mart for them?

    You just have to replace yourself over time with employees (including managers and executives) and outsourcers.

    You can do this from day one but I advise people to bootstrap and do it themselves to start since you have more time than money in the begining of a business.

    • oof.. a cold call? or are these true leads? If cold, that would be a
      very hard sell. If it is a lead then I would say training is a pretty
      good one.
