Marketing Advice needed for Jewelry shop client

I have a Jewelry shop in Detroit that sells high end custom diamond watches and chains, they already do marketing via Instagram, Facebook, and they have a site up, but they are interested in increasing sales even more. They sell worldwide.

Create a youtube video of the store with the owner talking through the stock/clientelle and what it is they do to make sure customers get a great experience when they visit.

Put the video/link onto social media (that they already have working)

I'd run a customer re-activisation campaign with them. Let there past customers know they are loved and offer a discount on products or services as a reward for a limited period.

As a lover of jewelry...and a marketer, I have lots of suggestions. The first being, have them run a "wish list" and advertise it on tv/FB/their website.

People come in and browse and make a "wish list" - once a month there is a drawing and someone WINS their wish list (you can put a limit on it like $250 or $500). Benefit is obvious for customers, the store keeps this and shares it with those shopping for someone (like a registry), it allows you to gather emails, phone and send out special offers/reminders.

Two well known independent stores in the Denver, CO area do local radio advertising campaigns. And, they repeat often enough so you know that they are getting good results.

Are these the only forms of marketing they are doing?

Are they looking to increase sales locally or via the web? I know you said they do business worldwide, but are they marketing in local media as well?

Go direct to those that have money and higher probability
to spend money on custom jewellery.

2 groups of people come to mind, male sports stars
and recently divorced women in their 50's with no children at home.

There are lists of these people available for rent.

      Best,
      Ewen
