  • I am planning to add it, is useful to scan with mobile phone on the Windows desktop and access send link to mobile phone.
  • we are using it for offline campaign where whenever we advertise like poster , billboard , flyer.
we will include the QR code in it so they can check out the product of promo by scan with their mobile phone instead typing your whole long url and search for it .
Beside that QR code also play a role of tracking for offline campaign.
  • Here's a post I am following up on with print advertisers where I live.

    Have one on board already.
  • I use them but they are most effective when they are used with mobile optimised pages or frankly they are just a waste of time as you would be giving your clients potential customers a bad experience, check out How To Effectively Use QR Codes for more information
  • I see a few QR codes on vehicles now, either vinyl graphics or magnetic signs.

I think there is an application for QR codes even for desktops to scan links from printed media. I'd think there would have been mice equipped w/ a cam on the bottom to scan QR codes. Maybe I should patent that.
  • QR codes can be read by the camera in most mobile phones. Once they are scanned, software deciphers the encrypted information and initiates a response. This response can involve either directing the phone to a website, providing the user with iintegrated data stored within the code or documenting an event. In any case, it eliminates the need to search for content and provides direct access to information.

  • hello there,

a QR code is what they call a Quick Response code usually used for recording information or data in a unique way. A QR code consists of black square dots arranged in a square grid on a white background. Actually these QR codes may look alike but they really differ. Also the information which they carry are made up of four standard types of data and that's already too technical to discuss about. Anyway, If you're familiar with the QR codes which you usually encounter when using your smartphone, that's one good example of that one. QR codes are easy to use. All you have to do is provide your QR code and the person who will use it will only have to get their smartphones and use their camera with their barcode reader and wala! they'll get redirected to the website embedded in one of the codes present in the QR code you've created.

    Hope this helps mate!

    Good Luck!
  • QR readers should be embedded in the phones camera app to automatically recognize them, instead of having the user to download an app first.
  • QR Codes are great because a lot of our Trumpia customers had plain old print advertisement that is not much more interactive and dynamic since a customer can scan the QR code and visit a business's website at their highest point of interest.
  • You can place QR codes on products such as: t-shirts, mugs, posters, book covers, etc.

At one of my clients fundraising dinners they had the wait staff aprons imprinted with their QR code and several of the items in their goody bag had the QR code imprinted. Their silent auction times were set up with QR codes which landed on a webpage to accept the bids, and eventual payment from the winner. They saw a measurable increase in donations over the previous year.

In one email newsletter when a client was announcing a contest, they sent only the image of the QR code, and the recipient had to
