$10,000 Per Week in 2013!?

Hello folks, sorry I'm going to have to inform you that I wrote a slightly misleading title just to catch your attention. Thats a sneaky marketer for you

Ok it wasn't totally misleading, as my ultimate goal is to eventually get to at least $10,000 per week profit, and yes that is $520k per annum A lofty goal no doubt but achievable if one works hard and smart.

I want to launch a business in the world's most livable city which also happens to be my home city; Melbourne, Australia. Eventually I'd like to branch out to other cities in Aus by outsourcing and hiring employees.

Basically, my plan is to promote online info products purely in the OFFLINE world or as some people call it: 'the real world' (which is a bit strange because it seems to suggest that the internet does not exist within reality lol).

When I say info products I mean things like weightloss ebooks, mmo ebooks, wso's etc. An example of an online product site I might promote would be something like this: INSERT some product with a hot girl in a ferrari HERE

I would start just promoting as an affiliate but then branch out to creating my own info products to target the average consumer in my city.

Promoting online info products in the offline world is very good for a couple of reasons:

1. There is much less competition.
2. The offline world is full of people EVERYWHERE and it is also very obvious where they are (and sometimes what types of consumer they are) and where to advertise to them, unlike the internet where sometimes it can be hard to see where the people are, what genders they are, their interests etc. (for instance, you can't see where eyes go on a screen, where their mouses are moving or what things they are concentrating on unless you use heat map mouse tracking software).
3. Its extremely cheap. You can pay pennies for some forms of offline advertising such as flyer distribution or even classified paper advertisements, or at the very least all it costs is your time (of which I have plenty of as I am only 20 years old currently!)
4. The offline world has a thing called: TELEVISION. Eventually my goal is to get a big enough bankroll to afford some tv ad spots and just advertise a product that would appeal to the vast majority of consumers (like info on how to make more money, lose weight, improve relationships, improve appearance etc.)
5. Lastly, I think when someone can hold something in their hands (like a flyer or business card) or see a large colourful billboard in front of them, it is more attention grabbing than seeing the same advertisement online. It just seems more real and memorable when you see advertising in the real world rather than on a computer screen.

oh and I guess:
6. Offline advertising would keep me sane and not glued to the computer 24/7 like I have been recently haha.

I absolutely do not want to specialise, as that is for insects and not humans. What I want to do is find good info products to promote (or even CPA offers), products that would appeal to absolutely anybody, and just send as much offline traffic as possible to those offers.

I've been thinking of places to promote, and I want to start small by just promoting with heaps of flyers on car windshields and in letterboxes or even under people's doors.

What I want to know from you guys and girls is:

What general consumer interest products or services should I promote?

Afterall, we all know some niches are more appealing to people than others, and some are more lucrative than others, so which is the best niche for me to start promoting in?

Keep in mind, I will just start promoting in my city and will be targeting a city where the average income per person is $60,000.

I'm thinking: Make money offers (almost everyone wants more money) and Weightloss or Travel offers (most people want to lose weight, and most people go on holidays), Food related offers (everyone needs to eat), luxury items/high-end services (alot of people are rich these days, especially in my city, and want to pay high prices for exclusive stuff)

If you have any ideas for me please leave them below.

I have considered starting off by putting flyers on cars at my local casino (there are probably over 10,000 cars there everyday) promoting gambling related products or make money related offers. But I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with that morally ( I don't care about the casino's no-advertising policy, but more so the people I would be advertising too who might be problem gamblers ). Alternatively I could promote make money online/biz opp offers to gamblers to perhaps get them away from gambling and onto a more lucrative hobby

What do you folks think?

Oh and if you also live in Melbourne, please private message me, I'd like to meet you as I know noone else who does online marketing.

And for all you pro marketers out there, I'm just a young marketer trying to save up some money from my marketing efforts to buy a house, so any tips for me would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance to all you helpful warriors.

      And lastly, my final question:

What kind of printer should I buy to print off all my flyers? Or should I just outsource it, I'm thinking of investing in a laser printer. Also, what software or designer business should I use to design flyers?

Remember, I'm only starting with flyers, then I hope to build a bankroll and try out newspapers and eventually television and billboards.

    Hey Avalonesa.

To start off, I admire your tenacity and drive. I think with that alone you will go a long way given you take the right direction.

However if you have an ethical problem with peddling gambling related products to potential problem gamblers, you may have problems along the way finding products to sell both online and off. You obviously have a conscience, and if you are going to be promoting Clickbank products for example, how will you know you are not just selling rehashed crap that can be found anywhere around the Internet for free if you haven't tried it and succeeded with it? Are you going to buy and verify every product is legit before you go promoting it as the next best thing to people, either on or offline?

I have built an offline business that feeds my family selling online marketing to offline business owners, almost entirely with the help of this one sub-forum of the Warrior Forum. The reason I am here is because I could not and would not sell one more Clickbank product as an affiliate, the reason being I could not verify they were legitimate without having any personal association with the product.

The reason I gave up online marketing for good was I read just one too many posts in the main forum from posters who had hired people on Fiverr to create fake reviews about a product they had never bought and knew nothing about, trying to find ways to lead people to these sales pages they were full of very clever crafted copy to hit hot buttons to sell to desperate people, without knowing a thing about what they are selling.

Sorry for the rant. I hope others are able to help you. I guess I just have a problem with the amount of absolute crap being peddled online, pushed by people who have no idea about the products they are selling or the legitimacy of the seller or the product. That's why I choose to spend time here rather than the main forum, with those who are amongst the top echelon of sales people, who choose to sell real solutions they believe in, to those who need them to run their offline businesses. I feel that is what makes this sub-forum so awesome, is that we believe in getting the solutions we feel will really truly help people, in front of them when they really need them.

I just hope this is your initiative from the outset, because if so, I think you will go a long way.

      I agree with Lesley.

Virtually every generalised niche on the internet (e.g. weight loss or making money) has tons of free content that can be found online with a very basic Google search.

If the information you are selling is highly specific and long-tail, and people cannot find the info. online for free, then they may buy your product.

One of the maxims of starting and running a successful business is to laser-focus on one particular narrow niche, and then dominate that niche. (Example: Weightloss books may be too general and you will have competition from Amazon, local bookstores, eBay, free stuff etc. etc. However, weightloss books for people with diabetes, may be far more appealing to people in this niche, especially if they can't easily find this information elsewhere online.

      Just my 2 cents.

Have you ever made a $1000 a week? If not, you might want to start there. I want a Maybach but I currently have a Ford.

Someday, if I work hard, I'll own a Ford too. We all have goals.

To the OP; So, your plan is to sell stuff to people?

How do you know what they want?
How much research have you done?
              How would you market?
Where would you buy what you sell?
              How will you process payment?
How will you sell add on products?
Are you going to call them, write them, ask them to find you?
Why would they want to buy from you?
              What expertise do you have?
How do you know that people are willing to pay for what you want to sell?
What do you want to sell?
Why am I asking these questions when I suspect you have already stopped reading?

Yes I have made $1000 a week, I make about $4000 a month from adsense consistently, but it is passive income and I really want to get out in my city and promote some things so I don't stay glued to the computer haha.

Basically I will be selling informational products that I either make myself or promote as an affiliate.

I'll stick to these 3 niches:

Health (weightloss info products or cpa trial offers for weightloss pills)
Wealth (make money/save money info products) = this will be my main niche
Relationships (info products and maybe dating websites)
