    Don't be surprised; this happens all the freakin' time.

    I find it very disappointing and shows how poorly many people value their word. But this won't be the last time it happens to you, I promise.

    Personally I have a couple of projects just flapping in the wind, left there by people who signed on and then disappeared. The only solution seems to be to have a network of backup contractors.

    That is often the trouble with outsourcing low-price jobs. Sometimes it is good to hire more than one team to do the same project because they tend to be flaky. It's much better to raise your prices and hire quality people.

    Cool, nice to hear that it is been solved already. Sad to hear that your first team quitted and resigned to bad it wasn't finished. Where d'you get your outsource anyway?
