Generate Leads niche - Property/Finance or Home Improvement

I would like to get into the property, finance, and mortgage niche and generate leads.
I already have a few ways to generate these leads, my only problem is what is the most profitable in demand services ? I probably will hear people say to do both, but to be successful, you need to know your targeted niche inside and out and I rather focus on dominating one division then move on to the next.
The same question also goes for home improvement leads as to what are the most profitable in demand services? painting? roofing? garage doors? etc.

    windows/siding/doors will probably be a lot easier, I would expect to be able to sell them off pretty easy at $50 to $75 each.

    Where I live garage doors seems to be the in thing. I got this info from our garage door man. He told me he doesn't have the time to keep up w/the demand. Don't know if that will help but one sure way to find out is to call and ask the various trades people.

      A contractor tells me that tuck pointing is easiest to sell.

      If you're getting into mortgages and are in the US, HARP is a program that's due to expire at the end of this year. HARP is the program that lets you refinance when you're upside down.

      FHA Streamline is a good one to promote.

    The bath fitting thing is really hot too. I haven't gotten into it myself but I see a lot of action with them. I'm talking about the overlays where you can have a 'new' bathtub in a day for pretty cheap.
