salesgenie is giving away all their info for free for 3 day

So I've been trying to find Business owners names for the past week and being the cheap @$$ that I am, I didn't want to pay for the information

So I tried looking on my cities website and yes I was able to find the info I needed but I was only able to find NEW businesses that just listed in the past year or so. (Great resource that I will continue to use for marketing to new businesses)

That's not what I wanted... I wanted to be able to type in the business name and get the owners name in return. So did a search on infousa and they wanted $99 for 50 business listings...ummm no thank you!

Next I went to infofree and they wanted like $100 to get started so that was out...don't understand why they call it info:FREE: if it's not free.

Next I checked salesgenie and they are offering a free account for 3 days and 150 free leads... GREAT! So I signed up and started looking for the businesses that I needed owner info for, but what I found was the ability to search unlimited businesses for free that included business name, address, and business owners name.

That was exactly what I needed for my direct mail marketing

So if you need owner names sign up for salesgenie and go to town getting the info you need for FREE!!

I hope this helps someone as much as it has helped me

No emails, but if you do a yp.com search for the business you are more than likely to find their email address there or on their website.

Remember, you still get 150 free leads that do include everything (emails and more).

        I'm confused Clay.

One sentence you say no emails and another sentence you say
'150 free leads that do include everything (emails and more)"

        Care to clear my confusion?

        Thank you.

        Best,
        Ewen

          Sorry.

When you sign up you get 150 free leads that include ALL information about the businesses.

BUT - You are able to search through their entire database for businesses. When you do this, it only shows you business name, address, city, state, zip, first part of phone number (555-124-****), and the business owners name.

Once you decide you would like to purchase this lead your will be given the complete information.

          Does that make better sense?

I did this a couple days ago and unless you send mail, you won't get much of a benefit unless you search for the businesses phone/email manually.

See for me, I had already built a list of local businesses complete with Business Name, Address, Email, and Phone Number. All I needed was the Owners name and this was one way of doing that quick and for free.

Check the local library web site. They often have free access to business databases with all the information you need. I can browse D&B and InfoUSA and export records in small batches all I want for nothing.

Except Manta is not all that accurate. I closed my appraising business in 2009. Manta still has me as an existing business (the phone number and address are the ones I had; volume is more or less accurate, number of employees is off by 300%.

They do not have my name as owner.
