Sell Some Damned Websites and Such!

Hey guys. The attached document is for roughly 500 or so records of businesses who have a record listed on the internet, but they have no web site. That's right, none of these guys have web sites. Lots of these nice sounding domains are available too (*hint*).

I was going to play around with this for sniffs and giggles, but have no time.

They are bars, restaurants, and salons - business types that should have a web presence!

hahahahah this list is going to get pounded by calls within a few days. They are all going to be pissed that all of a sudden 6 people a day are calling about websites they already probably have 2 a day at least.

Yeah but it'll die down after 3 days. The people seeking fast money will have made their one dial and move on to the next shiny thing.

I'd wait a week, then start moving through this list...empathizing with the prospects about the poor attempts from the previous week...persistently working on having that qualifying conversation...showing how my approach is totally different from what they experienced before.

        A-hem...

        The list:
#1: Alexiana's The Spa - Where Health and Beauty Come Together
#2: Renew Body and Skin Centre
#3: No site, but a huge FB presence.
#4: Cosmetic Surgeons California | Cosmetic Surgery Referrals

I could keep going, but that would be sort of pointless, right? Can they use a facelift? Probably. Can you sell that? Sure.

Is that the same as: "Hey GUYS! These places don't have a website and are PRIME FOR THE PICKING! Let's CRUSH IT!

        Nope. Carry on, fellas...

Thanks for pointing that out. Like I said this was a side project for me, not a commercial endeavor. I did re-post with restaurants having been filtered. The whole thing will be filtered soon for you guys to play with!

You'll find that there are a LOT of businesses that are listed in Google Places, YP.com, etc.... that don't have the .com or .net domain name that's the same name as their business, and/or they don't rank for any obvious keywords (even "Business Name + City")...

Yet there will be a "website" for that business (and I use the term "website" very loosely here ), that either never got indexed by Google, or it's buried several pages down for some obscure keywords that no one will ever search for (which usually means that they put up some crappy little site a long time ago that has little or no real content on it, never updated it, and never optimized it one bit for SEO).

I've run across this so many times it's not even funny. So... just something to keep in mind.

Yep. Not these ones though. Most have a real site - including the restaurants...

Chub, go on and see the other thread where I had my VA manually scrub. We also did bulk domain searches for various permutations of their names to make sure no domain was registered.

Basically, I've invested in your success. Please accept these gifts and download the list from the other thread with the two columns added.

Take action before I go on a domain name buying spree!!

Edit: The other post with updated info was removed. Sorry.
