Not Another N00B!!! Wedding Photography Sales Call Help?

Hey folks,
When I saw the amazing amount of skill and facility skulking about, I had to join.
I'm hoping to maximize my appointment potential for the lists of brides I've been getting over the past year from my bridal shows, as the lame scripts I've tried have been overwhelmingly...lame.
I've started on a new one, but I feel like it's headed down the same road. I don't need to close on the call, I just need to book a consultation at my studio that they will feel the need to keep!
Any suggestions along those lines, remembering the demographic (newly engaged 19-28 yrs. fem.) will be enormously helpful.
Thanks, in advance.
Also, my website's linked in my sig.
check it out, I welcome comments on it too.

Without any further ado, the "script."

Script for Bride Calls

Hi! My name's Josh, with DreamShots Photography, how are you?
(Allow for Response)
I'm calling to tell you about our Wedding Festivals promotion, so I'm glad to be able to talk to you!
Have you reserved your date with a professional wedding photographer yet?
IF NO
Excellent! It was good talking to you, and have a great day!

IF YES
Well you picked a good time to pick up the phone! We've extended the in-show special to the registered brides and grooms from Wedding Festivals, so that if you schedule a free consultation with us, you are able to take 10% off of any wedding package we offer, as well as being eligible for several other incentives for your wedding!

Will you be available in the next week or so to meet with my wife and I at the studio?
IF YES

Great, I have ________ and ________ evenings available; which one's best for you?

IF YES Time: ???
Write Down Appt.
Ok I have you down for______
Thanks so much for talking with me, and we're looking forward to meeting you and your fiance again!
IF NO What day works better for you?
IF NO STILL Excellent! It was good talking to you, and have a great day!

Cheers!

I realize I'm not answering your question here... but... Have you considered facebook ads targeting women in your area that are engaged?

    Also, the script confuses me?

If they haven't, why would you hang up? Was this a typo or mishap on your part?

You want to separate tire-kickers and price shoppers out ASAP.

What's your typical project run in price?

I've worked with several videographers and photographers and they always come to me doing work at far lower prices than they want to be working at.

You are selling before qualifying in your current script. It's too "In Your Face". People will back away.

Find out who this prospect is and why they called before you start quoting them services. Ask questions, don't make statements.

I understand, that you are talking about sales-calls...but have you thought of partnering up with complimentary businesses. Maybe partner up, with a wedding dress store...Maybe a wedding cake business? You bring them business and they bring you business... grow you reach and that will grow your business...

    Just, some food for thought

Just another angle here... Davids bridal (as well as other bridal stores I am sure) offers in store wall space that you can hang pictures, leave cards/brochures and for X amount of dollars they will also email you leads at the end of every month. These leads are obtained from customers from the store who OPT IN to receive calls/information. The leads contain their name, address, phone number, wedding date as well as other useful information. Everything you need to know to construct a call specifically for them. Best part is that they WANT you to call - so you've already got an advantage.

Some months may have a few dozen, other months will have hundreds depending on their volume. Depending on your price points and advertising budget this may or may not be worth it for you. One of my clients used it and I know that it paid for itself multiple times over in a town of around 30k. I'd call and check on it anyway - than you can start calling!

    Good luck.
