How to start a conversion optimization business?
I was reading the forums and came across some posts about conversion optimization and it got me interested.
If you offer conversion optimization to your clients, do you offer it as your main service or part of services that include web design, seo, ppc, etc.?
How do you find clients when you offer a service like this? I think my biggest problem is how do you convince them to work with you? If they already have a good website and getting traffic, they probably think everything is working fine for them.
Do you look for companies with websites that get a lot of traffic? I don't think this works for small businesses because they don't get a lot of traffic to their websites to see any results.
If you go after small and medium sized companies, how do you get to the president/ceo to sell this service to them?
How much do you charge them? $500? $3000? $15000?
Setup fee plus monthly fee, project fee, or percent of revenue?
