I need some consultation please.

Website Niche: Real Estate

I need some consulting on new methods of white hat backlinking technique.

Our website is fully optimized in terms of on site optimization, keyword research, and everything else.

We are targeting 100 keywords. For some highly competitve keyword we are on the first page. (Los angeles Real estate, Hollywood Real estate)

Although we are doing good, we need to do much better. We need to learn how to be able to rank for all 100 keywords together, and not 1 by 1. Right now we do paid press releases daily, article submissions daily, forum backlinks from 1-2 forums.

Anyone have any advice, of ways we can target being ranked for multiple keywords at the same time?

Any advice will help please :]

Website: Red Blue Realty Dot Com

Ps: If you need monetary compensation, we can discuss.

Being ranked for multiple keywords at a time is just about expanding your SEO practices. The thing is, by expanding your practices it usually means that it takes a little longer for any one keyword to get great traction.

So you need to create a campaign around each keyword grouping that are easily ranked together. So los angeles real estate would fit with lost angeles real estate costs, los angeles real estate advistor etc etc.

Also you need to invest a little time in determining the landscape of the search results for your targeted keywords. The reason for this is because there are many tactics to get web properties to rank high in Google but they are not always about ranking your website. Sometimes it is a Press Release, a Youtube Video, Google Local, PPC etc etc. You need to see what the BEST option is for these keywords so that you are not wasting time and money to get the visitors.

I noticed that you are not using any videos or social media. May I ask why? They can be an excellent source of traffic, rankable properties and back links.

      Thanks for the reply.

We group our keywords in 3 categories, and target all three at once, with usually both a press release, and article submition. (We pay a $5500 PR package, where we can post a pr a day, and it can be distributed thousands of different places.)

We use: (City) Real estate, (City) Homes for sale, (City) Real estate agents.

In regards to the videos, We know they can work very well, I guess its the fact that we don't have the man power to really target the project ATM. In terms of social media, I really don't see social media being a great benefit, we do have a facebook, but have never spent money on acquiring fans. I believe Google adwords, brings a better return regarding PPA basis.

True, adwords is a much better way to spend your money in terms of PPC especially if you do not have the time to manage Social Media campaigns, since that is where the true value in social media is....the actual engagement.

So basically you have around 100 keywords and you are ranking for a few of them but not ranking great for the lot of them. You want to know if there is any way to rank for more of them at once? Also you are ranking on page one for a few of the more competitive keywords.

So with your daily submissions to PR and articles....how distributed are you with your keyword targeting, content and anchor text? I would think that if you are ranking on page one for a few of the more competitive keywords that you have been focusing mainly on those few in your titles, content, and anchor text.

If that is the case, then there are two avenues to take.

Either break up your focus to target some of the other keywords in your PR/article/forum submissions which might end up causing the keywords that you have been targeting to slip in the rankings.

Or leave that campaign along for those competitive keywords and add a secondary campaign for the rest of the keywords to rank them. Something like a tiered link building campaign that does not hit the same sources as the PR/Article/Forum campaign. Creating a more diverse link profile is also important for the overall health of the target site.

Without knowing more detail about the campaigns, all I can give is general advice.

Exactly understood, that is essentially what we do. And yes, it would make sense to add on a second tier to focus on the other keywords, as we do drive our main focus for the more competitive keywords.

I read on the forums, and found a nice website onlywire.com that can help us with social media back links, so I was wondering are there other white hat backlinking techniques people use that are really beneficial, or the methods I'm using right now are well enough that if I just focus and push harder, they will eventually pay off. BTW we only submit to around 2 article websites. Will increasing the variation make a huge impact? We have maybe submitted 50 articles to each site.
