Cool free resource to boost your productivity and profits...

Hey Guys,

This might be old news, but I just came across a free organizational platform called Trello: https://trello.com

The company is a New York based software company that also creates other software (which is not pitched or promoted on Trello) but covers the costs of Trello which is why it's free.

Anyways, I just wanted to share this since I've used a variety of tools in my business (Basecamp, To-Do apps on my iPhone etc.) but I really like the simplicity that Trello brings to the table.

There's the typical browser access (similar to Evernote) but there's also iPhone/iPad apps as well as Android.

Can be used by teams, or just privately.

I'm using it to not only keep track of marketing courses and books I'm reading, but also prospects I come across, free content ideas I think up mid-day that I can follow up on and create later etc.

I only recently came across this resource myself recently, but who knows how long it's been out, so I figure I'd spread the word.

Use it. Don't use it. Doesn't matter to me, but thought you should know.

Cheers,

~Dexx

Can I make an addition? I wouldn't recommend this book unless I highly valued it. But it is one of the most unique books on organizing workflow and working faster, more efficiently, w/out adding any additional stress to your life.

He gets into the topic of developing the "ultimate" work strategy. But goes into such a unique depth that I've never seen talked about or covered before. If you want to "get things done", like a professional, his book is called "Getting Things Done" by David Allen. It is a must read for anyone who runs their own business. I consider David Allen an "efficiency maniac" and he truely redefines what it means to be an efficient business owner/professional/person.

I think he also has a video on youtube, although its a bit older, it will give you a decent idea of what the book is about.

I also cannot recommend this system highly enough.

Personally manage my GTD via Evernote thought Trello might do the trick also. So a search for "GTD Evernote" to find good ways of implementing. I don't know how I lived without it.

Thanks for pointing out Trello...I will give it a look.

I started to use Trello a week ago, and my productivity is SO MUCH better. I love the clarity. I love everything about it, and I recommend anyone to try it just for a day. And the fact that it's free makes it even better!
