"Selling" with Educational Webinars

I see lots of people talking about how effective educational webinars are for selling....mostly those selling expensive "how to sell with webinars" courses.

Just wondering if anyone not selling a course has been using them effectively for selling to local business owners.

If so, are there any cheap WSO's ($7-9 ) you recommend to learn the basics?

    I think someone could do well in offline by catering to the "DIY" businessman market, with just doing a prerecorded say google place webinar with a webinar wordpress plug(many out there) that makes it look live..then just offer a free product on a squeeze box to get them all into your auto-responder

    I am just getting started with the weekly webinars. I have not pitched anything (ran 3 so far), but plan to pitch next week. I upload them to YouTube and add them to the Archived Webinar" page with a content locker (spread on FB & LinkedIn).

    Look up Mike Shreeve on here (forum name: portlandrocks) as he just put out a free report on doing just this. He has a slick system down with a very solid funnel. He says he makes sale 6 months after the webinar, that is how I like to do business.

      Hello, Warriors.
      Just wanna say that educational webinars for offline consulting are working very well.
      Here is the model I use:
      1. Get people to the webinar (business owners);
      2. Close them to a free "express-audit" (I don't know how you call it in English);
      3. On the "audit" we close them to a consulting or a training (depends on your niche and some other things).
      If you want I can give you "in figures" how it is done here.
      For the moment in Russia I seem to be the only person working this way. My students also started working this way.
