How much do you guys make selling mobile sites?

I was going through my WSO folder and saw one of JD's reports I never read. The one with the pre-written scripts.

I've had selling mobile sites in the back of my mind for a while I even had about 200 of them made by a couple virtual assistants a few months back, but never got around to actually selling.

So, just to get myself excited on this new selling adventure I'm going to get into this Wednesday, I'm curious...

How much do YOU make selling mobile sites?
How do you sell them?

I'm going to shoot for one phone close a day at $195 + $47 monthly.
If it works out, I'm going to put a couple idle tmrs I used to work with
on the same script.

    My partner and I made many mockup sites for original offline business guys (main homepage designed for them but all links dummy)....

    Plan was to get leads... then create demo homepage site.... then get order for full site.

    My partner was marketing this, and I was on techincal end. I do not know much about the marketing plan, I knew he hired a sales guy for this....

    We got many leads, we created many demo sites for them...but we did not sell much full sites.. Yes we sold few but not enough to continue this operation. My partner said we will come back to this soon but for now it was not that profitable...As it seemed these guys did not feel need for the mobile site

    Please do not take this negative case and stop your efforts, but I just wanted to let you know our experince.. it could be due to our targeted marketing... it could be due to our leads' demographics... BTW it was marketed in UK/London (My partner is in London so this was main demographics... we were surprised why they did not get the mobile thing).

    You said you have already made two hundreds of them... Well I would say do not make more until you start selling them... Put all your energies and plans in Marketing & selling if you really are going to make money from this venture. As making is easy.. selling is what makes the money..

    I wish you good luck with your project, and hope you get better results than ours, and may we also revisit our plan in future when our market is ready for it

      Well that sucks.

      I've seen some people talking about how they make pretty good scratch with mobile sites on here.

        Give them away for the hostgator affiliate action...do 21 a month and make $2625.

          To that you will need get a domain for each one but it could work since they aren't really "paying" for the mobile site, just for the domain, hosting, etc.
