Listen In As I Cold Call Businesses

Hey Guys,

I notice that a lot of people have a fear
of cold calling businesses

I DON'T

Do I LOVE cold calling and jump for
joy at the thought of it?

Not really ...

However, I think that if you believe in what you
are selling it's not that hard. And it get easier when
you get in the groove

If I was to record some of my cold calls to businesses
so that you could listen would that be helpful to you?

If I get a few people that want it I'll do it and post a link
to the audio here

  • great post. sure thing, cold calling is a never ending story and see if we can learn something new. I sell technology to call centers and you would think that call centers would appreciate the good old cold caller and take your call but let me tell you they dont. i would be interested to listen to it

  • Definitely a great idea. I've always felt a lot more comfortable in person than making the sale on the phone, so it would be interesting for me to hear another example from someone who does the calling well.
  • I've heard a number of different cold call techniques and it never hurts to hear more. Practice makes perfect yes? Probably one of the most amazing ones was a 15 minute long script from a TV studio. Was just so quick and fluent. Post away please!

      I remember the midasman doing some 'over the shoulder' video of him calling on local biz owners and they were quite well recd...I have been considering doing some as a wso , havent taken the time....
  • All it takes is guts. Just pick up the phone and start dialing. What's the worst that can happen? You get hung up on.
